It was announced earlier this week. Far Cry 4 is getting a complete Edition – which as I’ve said before, comes across as a bit of a cheek if you ask me. If you’re repackaging your game, bundling it with what should be superfluous DLC, and calling it “complete,” you’re tacitly admitting to your customers that what they bought when the game was released was unfinished.
Thing is, I rather liked Far Cry 4 – even if it really was just the last game with a fresh coat of paint. If you’ve not played it, a *ugh* complete edition would be a great way of playing the game. Only you can’t, if you own an Xbox One.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the re-release is only coming to the PlayStation 4 and PC, leaving Xbox One owners out of the re-released fun.
“The Far Cry 4 Complete Edition will be released on June 19, 2015 on Playstation 4 and PC only in EMEA territories. We have no plans to release it on Xbox One,” says a statement from the French Far Cry fabricators.
Far Cry 4 is some of the most fun co-op experiences I’ve had in this new generation – so if it’s cheap enough – and not like, full retail price , maybe give it a bash. Unless you’re Xbox One, of course. Still…a “complete” edition? Surely that’s taking the piss.

Complete Edition is just exactly the same as the Xbox one version with season pass, perhaps Ubisoft don’t like it they were selling the Xbox season pass really cheap a couple of times.

Really didn’t like this game… This and Shadow of Mordor is just sitting on my shelf waiting for a half decent game to come so that I can trade them in. Really annoying games control wise, and the shooting in Far Cry 4 is crap.
