This is exactly why I don’t ever recommend using a gaming console as anything but a gaming console. Reports are coming out this morning that the PS3’s Blu-Ray player is not capable of Dolby TrueHD…

Something to do with not being able to get the bits out of the HDMI port… Now I am virtually tone deaf so it will never make any difference to me but to the fanatical media buffs this must be a real problem. Add this to the fact that the Blu-Ray player inside the PS3 is not fully compliant with the latest specs and that media demon is starting to look a little crocked…
