Nintendo’s Cammie Dunaway has been talking to Gamespot at the Nintendo Media Summit about the Wii’s successor or lack thereof.

According to Cammie (keep wanting to call her Faye) Nintendo are eyeballing the success of PS2 and are wanting to copy that which means we should be preparing ourselves for a really long lifespan.

In America the Wii has sold 28 million units and is still 22 million of the installation base of the PS2 which pretty much means we are barely halfway through the Wii’s lifecycle.

She also carries on to put it in pure gaming fashion saying that the Wii’s successor will be ready when it’s right… which means very little really.
