Notable gaming releases this week

It’s Meh-nday today, and that’s never a good thing. Although to brighten up the start to your week let’s take a look at the gaming releases over the next 5 days.

You may see this as more of a list of things to eat up all of your money, but hey, it’s payday this week, so why be responsible when you could rather just splash out and think about it later? We are so responsible on this site, I know.

(US) Mafia II (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) – Tuesday 24th

Shank (Playstation Network) – Tuesday 24th

Shank (Xbox Live Arcade) – Wednesday 25th

Scott Pilgrim vs The World (XBLA) – Wednesday 25th August

(RSA, EU) Mafia II (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) – Friday 27th

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) – Friday 27th

So then, XBLA and PSN are getting some real treats this week with Shank as well as the XBLA version of Scott Pilgrim eventually getting released as well.

Mafia II and Kane & Lynch 2 will be duking it out this week to see which sequel can be the best, but if I had a personal opinion on the matter, I would say that Mafia wins the best original title over Kane and Lynch by a mile.
