Now someone has stolen 2 PlayStation Phones from the factory

Yesterday I posted up the pictures of the new Nintendo 3DS that someone stole from a factory in China and today it’s the upcoming PlayStation Phone’s turn.

I don’t even know if Sony has even confirmed this phone yet to be honest but either way we know it’s coming and this is what it is going to look like. I am pretty disappointed in the end result as I thought the flat metal slide out was simply for development purposes and was going to be transformed into something awesome before hitting the factory. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case.

On the good side however is that the touch pad appears to have 2 virtual analogue sticks…

Oh the white/silver phone next to it is a Xperia X10 which is meant to give us some indication of scale but I don’t have a clue how big one of those are so I’m thinking it’s about an iPhone 4 size?

I don’t think that the little touch panel looks bad. I think it could give considerably better control than weird little analog sticks. Take “Angry Birds” for an example. It’s a LOT easier to set the proper trajectory for your birds with the PS3 stick or phone’s touch screen. And it’s flat, so it won’t pop off or break.

But only Android 2.3 Gingerbread? I was expecting them to have moved a bit further along to maybe 3.0 to give this device some time to make some ins before it’s O/S is that old.
