I just found this trailer for an upcoming Wii game called Oneechanbara… As you can guess this is a game aimed at the Japanese market.
The gameplay itself looks interesting enough but I don’t think I will ever understand how the Japanese justify there advertising…. Why would a half naked women in a bikini be playing this game?

I think it’s not just the Japanese… it’s a world trend. If you take a look at all the booth ladies at convention.
Guess they’re following the “sex sells” idea.

It’s call Cosplay, the lady in the ad is dressed the same as the character in the game. it’s a popular thing in Japan and the States (starwars anyone?)
We have a couple of Cosplay events here, AWX in Bright Water Commons holds a couple of them through the year, there was also an event at Rage!
