Miss Fortune

The League of Legends 2015 World Championship series, which starts tomorrow as a matter of fact, will be played on patch 5.18. This doesn’t mean that Riot Games will sit back however, letting the tournament play out before they resume balancing and such on their MOBA. No, the company don’t know the meaning of “taking a break”, because they’ve just released patch 5.19 for everybody else not taking part in the annual eSports spectacle.

Here’s an overview of the latest update:

Welcome to Patch 5.19, the one where we take a step back from all the big changes we’ve made to the game recently and buff Miss Fortune. So take a load off, relax and enjoy a light patch to catch your breath while we take head-count and make sure everything’s tidy before the new season comes around.

For those of you that aren’t interested in Miss Fortune buffs (the heathens), we also have a slew of impactful bugfixing and a complete rework of the jungle leashing system. Now you’ll have an inkling of why the blue buff you invaded to steal decided to walk back as the enemy team descends to feast upon your failure, but hey, you knew the risks going in.

On top of these light changes, it looks like Kindred, the newest champion to enter Summoner’s Rift, will be making an official debut too. When the Eternal Hunter’s get released though is anybody’s guess, as Riot have simply said that they “will be released later during patch 5.19”. Heck, they might be available by the time you read this.

If you’re a few IP short of some rune unlocks, good news – Riot have now instigated a permanent rune sale. Here’s what you can pickup at a discounted fee:

GREATER MARK OF ATTACK DAMAGE 205 IP – 102 IP
GREATER MARK OF MAGIC PENETRATION 410 IP – 205 IP
GREATER SEAL OF ARMOR 205 IP – 102 IP
GREATER GLYPH OF MAGIC RESIST 205 IP – 102 IP
GREATER QUINTESSENCE OF ATTACK DAMAGE 1025 IP – 512 IP
GREATER QUINTESSENCE OF ABILITY POWER 1025 IP – 512 IP

And yeah, that’s pretty much patch 5.19 in a nutshell! Are you happy with these changes and additions?
