I have always liked Peter Moore as he is more than just an industry executive, he always has an opinion and he makes sure you hear it. He also wears his heart on his sleeve so to speak.
Not to mention that he must be a highly intelligent individual to support such a fantastic football club… which leads me perfectly into the point of this post.
Peter Moore has been following the recent Eurogamer top 50 and has come out and stated ‘WTF (where the hell is FIFA 2009)‘… basically since he is now the head honcho at EA Sports he is obviously very interested in his titles and seeing where their top European sporting title is going to land.
He does make a valid point though, FIFA 2009 is easily going to be the top selling sporting title in Europe this year and you would think that it would have at least made it into the top 50 somewhere as it really is a good game. But then again it’s a regurgitated sports game and isn’t really a contender for Game of the Year.
Either way it’s interesting to see a studio head being so open about their titles and it shows the emotion that does exist behind closed doors.

Peter Moore is evil! Evil, I say! Actually, he’s a pretty bright businessman.
Remember when he screwed up while playing Rock Band at last year’s E3? That must have been embarrassing in front of so many people 😉
