My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember The Road Warrior. The man we called “Max”. To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time. When the world was powered by sandboxes, and the consoles spouted great games of DLC and motion control…
Here’s the latest trailer for Mad Max, which is now a 2015 game. And apparently filled with product placement from my ride-pimpin’ specialists West Coast Customs. Avalanche, the team behind the ludicrously fun Just Cause 2, are busy crafting this wasteland adventure which will have players customising their interceptors in order to deal justice.
With their tyres. On the faces of the guilty. Which accurately describes the Gauteng police department. Expect to see Max get raggedy on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime next year then.

That’s when not having 1 available becomes an advantage.

It’s still one of my favourite games. I had to play it at a mates place because my PC wasn’t up to scratch. Those were the days…
