Wondering which version of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood to buy?

We have not yet had any in-depth looks into the performance of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on both consoles yet, but unless something really problematic arises, it looks like those of you lucky enough to own both HD consoles will already know which one to go for.

News has rolled in that the PS3 version of AC: Brotherhood will receive an entirely free set of DLC at launch. Details after the jump.

The DLC will be titled The Copernicus Conspiracy and focuses on, you guessed it, Nicolaus Copernicus and his (heliocentric) philosophy of the world revolving around the sun.

The added missions will revolve around the storyline of Copernicus, and involve extra tasks for Ezio such as assassinations, protection details and deliveries. All this goodness will be available at launch when the PS3 version of the game releases in its first territories on November 16.

Oh wow and PS3 only owners didnt have to pay for PSN to get this exclusive and Sony didnt have to use this as an excuse to justify a hypothetical increase in paying for PSN. Pretty neat that

Yeah i must say EA are pretty cool for taking advantage of Move and Blu Ray i.e the HD remake of Frontlines on the PS3 Medal of Honour and Dead Space extraction with Move support. It seems though they are the only ones doind so and im guessing its because of MS:

    – COD Black Ops and Portal should have Move support but im guessing they dont want to incur the wrath of MS for the sake of pairty.

I cant wait to see what goodies Mass Effect 2 will have that are extra because Sony have a policy of not allowing devs to release old games already released on other consoles unless it contains new content.

Im expecting HD ports of Goldeneye and Epic Mickey on PSN to follow their Wii counterparts next year also. Its good to be a PS3 owner at the moemnt. We are getting the best of both worlds e.g what used to be Wii exclusives remade in HD and all the best HD multiplatforms games in the HD battle arena which have the added benefit of Move support and Blu Ray disc space if devs wish to use it like EA have done.

It looks like the Conduit 2 might also be coming to PS Move according to an interview with the devs on N4G. I just hope they price these Wii HD ports cheaply. Theres no way im paying full price for Epic Mickey, The Counduit 2 and Goldeneye. Currently priced Move games are the way to go.
