Playstation Home: Red Bull Air Race Trailer

This video is a shining example of why Playstation 3 owners can start to get really excited about all of the features that Home is promising to deliver on.

As stated previously be Sony, Home’s main source of revenue will come down to advertising and to be honest, as long as it isn’t overblown and helps provide a better service to the gamers, I am all for it.

What do you guys think of Home. Will it be the feature that makes Xbox 360 owners cry or is it going to become an epic fail for Sony?

  1. I think Home has the ability to make X360 owners cry. but it also has the ability to be an epic failure.

I’m more leaning towards it being a success. when i think of the possibilities it has i think wow. I just hope it doesnt take a year for any major change!

With broadband like South Africa has, Home is doomed to be a failure in this country.

I think that it has oodles of potential for those in the US (and probably the UK) though.

Home would be great if I could actually sign in, downloaded the open Beta at 1130 last night, but i can’t get past the menu screen due to network and server errors, oh well I guess thats why it’s still a beta, maybe I’ll get too see it sometime today

Trying to get in but still getting network errors. I have a bad feeling home will require high bandwidth thorough put and low latencies, so with my 384K adsl in South Africa I might just be out of luck.
