It’s called The Next Big Thing, which wins them extra brownie points for an awesome game title. It’s a classic point-and-click adventure game! You know, like the ones from the nineties! It’s made by the same developers that did the two Runaway games. Granted, those two games weren’t anything to write home about, but previews for The Next Big Thing have been pretty promising.
Here’s a trailer for the game. It’s bright and colourful and loaded with neat characters and witty dialogue. All the makings of a great adventure game are in place. We’ll have to wait until 25 April to find out whether Pendulo Studios has managed to create something new and fresh, but at the same time nostalgic. Man, I miss the nineties adventure games.
