Yep, that’s right. The Prince of Persia HD Trilogy is a go, kicking off with the first of the lot, Sands of Time.
POP: Sands of Time is now available on the Playstation Network and features all those awesome things you would expect, like gameplay, story and oh yeah, HD graphics with 3DTV compatibility.
So how much does it cost and when will the others be available?
Firstly, the two other titles in the trilogy, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones will be made available on PSN in December.
All of the games will be made available separately for download, and each one will set you back the equivalent of $14.99 U.S Dollars. Awesome news indeed especially for someone like me that didn’t ever get to play the second two in the series.
Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation never shuts up about how the trilogy is like the best thing to ever happen to games like, EVAAAAR, so I will definitely have to check it out. What can I say, I’m a sucker for HD.

I guess it’s finally a reason to update my PS3. Thanks for the heads up, totally missed this release somehow.
