PS3 has better quality games than the Xbox 360

The Sony Protection Group, which is obviously completely unbiased, has come out and made a graph comparing the percentages of quality titles on each of the consoles….

It is not suprising to see the PS3 winning in this chart, what is suprising though is that they claim to have taken the information from Metacritic.com which is a truly non-biased organisation.

what we can see from the graph is that when you buy a PS3 you have more chance of a quality game than from any other console, what is horrifying is that the Wii has more terrible (<50%) games than good games.

Buying an Xbox 360 gives you the best chance of not having a bad game as well.

So what does this graph really tell us?

Well out of the 10 or so PS3 games, its not so difficult to produce a three or four good titles. mmm relative to the amount of games the other consoles have, i would say this is a pathetic PR stunt by sony once again.

I think these guys must be smoking something. The X360 already has 2nd gen games out or in development while the PS3 still has NO blockbuster games out till 2008. When taking that into consideration how can this chart even exist? Everybody knows that multiplatform games of current play & look worse on the PS3 or even lack features present on the X360!

Simply google for reviews/comparisons of CoD3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Virtua Tennis 3 and Splinter Cell Double Agent for example.

This is so funny. Sony are acting like a bunch of preschoolers… I think Microsoft needs to send them a lawyers letter that says ” I’m the rubber, you’re the glue…”

Quantity over quality: music and movies do this, so do games. Besides, a lot of the games that are critical favourites are not the money-makers. The crappy ones often are. Look at Crackdown, which is still a lackluster game in my opinion. It’s still fun to play.

Are the SPG actually a part Sony or are they just a bunch of silly little fanboys?

Fudzy, They are just a bunch of silly little fanboys. Who for some reason manage to get their articles onto all the main gaming websites which then forces to me to report on it..
