So following on from earlier reports on how well the UK PS3 launch went the numbers are really starting to roll in now.
PS3 has sold 600 000 PS3’s across PAL territories (yes that includes us) in the last week. Which added up to 400 million Euro… Not only is the PS3 the most expensive console ever it has easily broken the record for the highest number of launch sales by any other console.
All the doom prophets obviously under estimated the amount of people who have been waiting for this machine.
So far so good for Sony, they have now completed a fantastic launch and now the long war begins. How long can they keep up these types of sales and will the casual gamer start picking up the PS3 now?
