PS3 price cut confirmed?

Howard Stringer has told the London based Financial Times “That price cuts is what we are studying at the moment. That’s what we are trying to refine”

If that isn’t a confirmation of a price cut on the way I don’t know what is? But once again Sony seems to fail with it’s communication with the media.

Here’s a hint Howard, don’t say you are thinking about how much you are going to cut the price by without telling us the date. Only an idiot is going to buy a PS3 now when they know that the price is going to be slashed in the very near future.

So how much are we expecting the price to drop buy? Some analysts have claimed it nears a minimum of $200 slashed off the price but I can’t see Sony doing that.

You want my prediction, Sony will announce a $100 price cut in 4 weeks time which will be countered by a $110 price cut by Microsoft and Nintendo will do nothing.

PS3 sales will jump momentarily and will then sink back to it’s current levels while the Xbox 360’s sales will soar. The Wii will continue to destroy everything in it’s path.
