PSA: BT Games is having another amazing clearance

Yeah, it looks like there’s too much stock taking up space at BTGames, so they’re practically giving away a ton of their stock. That stock includes hardware, like PlayStation Vitas they’re giving away from R2000, and Wii U bundles that can be had for just R3000. Sweet!

There is of course, a set of T&C’s.

All items on special are on sale on a first come first serve basis. No reservations. No item will be moved from its current location – so if a collectors edition or bundle is currently available at a specific store a customer will need to go there to collect it. Stocks are limited and BT Games will not be held responsible if items sell early and customer is unable to get a copy. Standard Bt Games terms and conditions apply.

Check out the sale, here.

Shame man, there is a copy at Cavendish,. If you put money into my Nigerian account, because you also happen to have been selected as a benefactor of $600,000,000 dollars from my recently dead/eased uncle. All I need for this wonderful opportunity to benefit you most agreeably is for you to deposit R50,000 into my account. You will surely agree to enjoy such a lucky, though not for me, situation. Signed Nigerian Goodluck wishes.

Thanks for this Lazygamer. I’ve been thinking of buying a XBOX for some time now to work my way through at least the Gears and Halo games, and to have an opinion of Microsoft’s console before making my choice on next gen. So, Friday I left work @ 3:30 and popped into the Centurion branch. Got a XBOX 360 250Gb, with 2 controllers, Forza 4 and Skyrim @ R1999. Also picked up a used Gears of War 1 and Halo 3 @ R65 each.

What a bargain… As a hardened PS3 gamer, I can tell you my experience on the XBOX so far is not bad. I like the XBOX interface. Skyrim runs smoother on XBOX and looks a bit better than on PS3, but I still loved Skyrim on PS3. Halo 3 is probably to old, but it really does not look well and the gameplay is well… Old school shooter. Not bad, just not what I expected from Halo… Gears of War looks awesome, my kinda game, can’t wait to get to the next ones. I’m postponing God of War and Last of us until later in the year. Time to catch up on XBOX first. Is Halo Reach worth getting or should I just jump to Halo 4(Which is already cheap second hand)?

The XBOX controller is a bit of a mixed bag… On the one side it feels like much higher quality than the DS3, but the one that came with the system uses normal batteries… wtf(they better last at least a month). The sticks don’t have that same resistance you get on the DS3 and is therefore causing me to overshoot all the time.. I guess I’ll get used to it, The Dpad is kak, nothing else to call it… The triggers are awesome, I now understand why most of us use L1 and R1 for triggers on PS3.

At least now I can make my nextgen choice knowing that I’ve played on both current consoles. End of this year or early next year when I buy nextgen(If I feel the need to buy it right away) I’ll sell one of my current systems will all it’s games, but one I’ll keep. I’m curious which it will be hehe!

    Thanks again!

Hooray! Glad we’ve helped make your gaming just a little bit more awesome. On point; i’d go straight to Halo 4, personally. Reach, now, seems a little dated. and yes, the D-Pad on the standard 360 controller is /awful/ but those triggers? Man, those triggers are great.
