So on Tuesday we posted saying that Don Bradman Cricket 14 had been delayed locally for an extra few days but now I’ve just received notice that this is no longer the case.
Thanks to some amazing logistical gymnastics Megarom have been able to secure their stock and it will land locally in time for a Friday release.
Nothing has been mentioned but I wouldn’t be surprised if stock is slightly constrained so get your pre-orders in or camp outside your local video game retailer on Friday to ensure you get a copy.
Then when the Proteas take the T20 this weekend we can all celebrate by knocking the bails of Australia in the virtual game.
Don Bradman is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Friday the 4th of April

I’m strangely excited for this game…. The last cricket game I bought was Brian Lara on PSOne, and I think it’s time to get another.

Exactly guys, Brian Lara was THE cricket game. Come to think of it, I might just dust the ol’ girl off tonight for a quick session.

Apparently never, because cricket shouldn’t be played at 720p 😛 heheheh

I’m 100% sure it’ll release at 1080p on PS4, and as per all their other games the first free DLC will again be the FPS lock/cap tool! ????

🙂 I have started playing in my PS3 before anyone. It is so awesome. I ordered from an online store in Dubai & got delivered in 3 days in UK. I didn’t even thought that I can play it before the official launch. In case if you want to buy I’m sharing the link here

Damn I so want this game… but I’m probably going to wait for the PC version for 3 reasons.
1. It’s cheaper.
2. There’s not point in getting it on my Xbox 360 as the HDMI port is faulty 😛 (International Cricket 2009 is almost unplayable via AV cables as you can’t really see where your ball is going to pitch when bowling)
3. Steam.
Oh and I don’t wanna pay R240+ for the HD Component cable 😛

But, its gonna take at least 2 months more to release the PC version. bad luck

I can live with that, at about R430 for PC against R700 + R250 (for Component cable) for Xbox 360… it’s worth the wait at this moment in time.
