PSA – You can get a free copy of Amnesia: The Dark Descent today!

I love horror games (obviously). I mean, there’s the heart palpitations, the copious amounts of panicked sweat, and the inexplicable loss of gruff voices in favour of high-pitched squealing. What’s not to like? It takes a special kind of horror title to get all of those physical responses, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent is the perfect example, as it does so with unbelievable efficiency and precision. Did you perhaps miss the game when it made the rounds 5 years ago? Fear not, for you can add it your Steam account forever, and for free too… at least if you act within the next few hours.

SOMA is their latest game, due for release on September the 22nd. Will I be playing it? NO, AND DON’T YOU EVEN THINK OF SUGGESTING ANYTHING TO GAVIN!

Anyways… not only can you grab Amnesia for free, right up until 10AM Pacific (which translates to around 7pm South African time if my calculations are correct), you can grab other horror titles from Frictional for 80% off too! I played the demo of The Dark Descent when it first launched, and needless to say, I uninstalled the game. It was terrifying to say the least! Heck, take a look at this let’s play video if you don’t believe me (it’s actually quite funny to be honest).
