MCVUK is reporting that the long expected PlayStation Portable 2 will be announced by Sony at an event in Japan on the 27th of January.
Whether this device is the upcoming phone/gaming system is yet to be detailed but apparently the announcement is now 100% confirmed by insiders and Sony will be making a full announcement anyday now.
Whether the PSP2 will be able to slow the demise of the PSP around the world is still being debated but until we know all the details it is pure conjecture.

Does anyone actually care about another PSP ?
I think that platform is long dead. Apple iPhone & the new iPad-2 coming up are the portable gadgets that make me excited!
