There have been many rumours about what the new PSP is going to include and what it is called. The codeword of PSP3001 has been bandied about for quite some time now and recently a FCC report has surfaced which seems to confirm that this code word (and maybe the other rumours) is true.
So what can we learn from this Test Report… Well for one we can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that the next PSP will have some sort of WiFi ability. But we didn’t need a FCC report for that.
Unfortunately all the other information has been held back since Sony has requested privacy for obvious reasons.
But here are some of the rumours that we expect or might see in the next PSP
- Dual analogs
- Motion sensing
- Touch screen
- Built in Flash or Hard drive
- Phone?

Lol psp3001.such a waste.what they need is a Psp2. But Im still glad I got mine as a gift from stateside. Definitly wasnt the ridiculous R2300 They want.infact,was just under a thousand.
