rAge 2011–some pictures

Over this last weekend I was up at the Coca Cola dome in Northgate for South Africa’s, and more than likely, Africa’s premier gaming exhibition.

Now it’s obviously no E3 or Gamescom but I think we should maybe do some research and see if rAge is the biggest gaming convention in the emerging markets and start advertising it in that way. It’s by no means a small affair and the local distributors and publishers really do go all out to impress.

Some of my highlights were getting in to see Tomb Raider and Hitman and also interviewing Pierre de Margerie for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Details of that coming up tomorrow.

Other points would have been Rayman Origins, Dance Central (watching not doing), Batman: Arkham City and the PlayStation stand which was incredibly well attended.

Not to mention being able to take advantage of NAG’s chill lounge to get away from it all and put my feet up… unfortunately a lot of my pictures didn’t come out as well as expected but check the best of the bunch below.

So what was your favourite part of rAge 2011?
