rAge is coming

rAge MascotSo we are all living in Africa moaning about how badly we are treated compared to the rest of the world, especially from a gaming point of view, and we mundanely go about our gaming lives throughout the year until a specific date generally starts getting closer every year. This date normally falls in October, and this my dear friends, is rAge month. This year rAge returns, from the 3-5 October 2008, and once again takes place at The Coca Cola Dome in Northgate. This promises to be bigger than ever, and the NAG LAN has been increased to 1800 people this year.

Tickets for the event go on sale from the 1st August 2008, for the LAN event, and last year they sold out within 20 days, so don’t go and sit back and wait till later, you just won’t get in.

The official Website has been launched, and you can get there through www.rageexpo.co.za or clicking on the button on the front page of our site.

To celebrate this event, Tide Media has donated the following to us to give to you. 3 x NAG 6 month subscriptions and 3 x SACM 6 month subscriptions. All we ask for in return is for you guys to tell us the following:

What’s the one game you would like to see at rAge this year, and why?

Now be reasonable here, don’t give us crazy answers like Gears of War 3 or something that has not even started development yet, because that’s never going to happen. But if it’s decent, we’ll forward the suggestion to the correct person responsible and see if we can make a plan.

Best three submissions get the prizes; 2 subscriptions per prize, 1 NAG and 1 SACM. Easy hey!!! Competition closes 1 August 2008, and mail submissions to comps@lazygamer.co.za
