Red Dead Redemption Update Will Tie Cheaters Up And Throw Them In Front Of A Train

Ok, so maybe the update won’t do exactly that (would be cool though).

Red Dead Redemption is now officially the biggest selling US game of 2010 with a kabillion sales ( actually 1.5 million over both platforms) and it seems that there are a few bad apples that need some scolding.

Rockstar have announced on their blog that they are aware of some naughty little boys and girls that are abusing the game, using glitches or just being cocks and they plan to sort things out.

They are including new features which they call “anti-grief relief” for free roam, which means that if you have some toss-pot sniping you from some lame hiding spot every time you respawn, you can just choose to teleport and respawn elsewhere.

While that is nice, what it should do is actually transport you, the player, to that other sad individuals house with a large knopkierie so that you can power-sack-tap his nuts into next Tuesday.

A few other changes will be made. If you get a 6 kill streak against other real players, your character will be put into most-wanted status (also alerting other players that you are a player killer), and also be hunted down by NPC Marshals.

You can read more about it on Rockstar’s Blog here.
