So I was busy writing a posting about how awesome this video is until I got to 4:16 seconds into the video…
Then you see that for 4 seconds the Hero pumps bullets into a lumbering bad guy from behind and the bad guy keeps on walking… into a rock… and then keeps on walking… stuck on a rock.
Seriously why would Insomniac leave that piece of video in the interview? The game is looking great and yes this type of glitch happens in all games but most publishers try to avoid boasting about their dodgy AI in developer interview videos…

it’s non-existant in the big bad guys but is much improved in the smaller mobile chimera.. if you are going to write a headline then at least do a bit research. act like a proper games journalist if people pay you to do a job as a games journalist.

Making big guys dumb is nothing new, but what we see in the video is a complete lack of AI which is a bad thing…
Once again I get insulted because I said something bad about a PS3 game… I smell a pattern

I think what ad is trying to say is:
Your headline is misleading because the AI is not ‘non existent’, at least the mobile chimera can think for themselves!

I think if I got pulled up for slightly sensationalist headlines I would have been shot by now 😀
Headlines are meant to grab your attention and then the story will clarify the content.
But yes, taken out of context the headline is wrong.

well the headline did have a question mark in. So you as reader got ask a question to think about the quality of ai. If it was an exclamation i would agqed

well your job is a games journalist.. have your considered reading any of the forums talking about peoples playing the beta??? no you haven’t. you picked up one video from gametrailer and decided to write a sensationalist headline to get “hits”.
if you had BOTHERED to do some research (as most journalist would do because that is what they are paid to do) then you will find out that most people notice that the chimera AI is infact very existant and improved. like i said, AI for the big bad guy sucks but this does not mean non-existant AI.
no need to have the victim mentality. you are not being abused, i am merely helping you become a better more balance reporter – not someone who makes sensationalist headlines based on one gametrailer video.
