Have you forgotten about Respawn Entertinament? The studio that has risen from the flames of the Infinity Ward / Activision / EA Debacle with Jason West and Vince Zampella?
Well they are back in the news again but this time it’s not because they are getting sued or have done something nefarious, well not yet anyway.
According to NowGamer 2 developers, Justin Hendry and Robert Taube, from the amazing God of War studio have now updated their LinkedIn Profile to say they have joined Respawn entertainment.
This in itself isn’t really news but the fact that 2 God of War developers have joined Respawn throws some doubt onto the belief that Respawn were planning on creating a COD killer or yet another generic FPS title.
Granted great developers can code any sort of game you want really but possibly these two guys have been poached secured to help lead the team into a new and unknown genre?
All I know is that I can’t wait to see what the first title from Respawn media is and how it’s ever going to be able to live up to the expectations.
