American McGee’s Alice placed the eponymous heroine, an older, more cynical version of Lewis Carroll’s Alice, in a dark and twisted world.
The original game, a 3rd person Quake 3 engine powered action adventure game was one of my favourites, and with that being the case it’s very difficult to not get excited about this trailer for the long awaited sequel, quite aptly named “Return of Aliceâ€
The blend of stop motion, CGI and puppetwork lends itself to an incredibly creepy Tim Burtonesque feel; all the more compounded by the imminent release of Burton’s own take on the tale.
Return of Alice will be available on current-gen systems some time in 2011

Can’t wait for this. Wonder which engine the game will use.
The original game actually used the FAKK2 engine (which was based on the Q3 engine).
I would love to have a sequel to FAKK2. :cheerful:

That’s quite a good trailer. Have to look into this some more.

Fuuuuck yeah! 🙂
Wish they’d get around to making the movie of the first
game already. Has that been scrapped again?
