Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza 6 release dates leaked

Nothing is safe during the week before E3. It’s probably why some many publishers have pre-emptively started revealing games and trailers already – leaving some unleakable gameplay or footage for the show itself. Microsoft hasn’t done that, and they’ve been relatively safe so far. If you choose to ignore a leak of two massive release dates that went live yesterday.

Retailers usually get a lot of this information before anyone else. so when Amazon posted two very specific dates for both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6, people noticed. They’ve been changed to the placeholder December 31st dates now, but not before someone managed to grab a couple of screenshots.

According to Amazon, Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch on November 13th, while the simulation centric Forza 6 will see a September 18 release. Those both cuddle up quite nicely to the October launch window for Halo 5, giving Microsoft an already comprehensive holiday exclusives line-up. And with the leak this close to the press conference, you can put down money that they’re quite accurate.

Microsoft have also promised to reveal brand new IPs during their show, as well as looks at Crackdown and the new Gears of War. Whether any of these will join the line-up they have for this holiday is unlikely, but it does make Phil Spencer’s address one to really look forward to.

E3 kicks off on Monday, with Microsoft taking the stage first at the premiere gaming event, at least as far as platform holders go.

I didn’t enjoy the last one as much as I hoped I would. Lots of good things about it but, I dunno. Would like to have seen the hunting / survival mean more. I also wanted to kill all her friends. Super annoying lol.

Lots of potential though so here’s hoping!

Actually was just a tongue in cheek rant.
I’ll be getting a xbone too sometime anyway… mis the xb360 controller. But not everyone can afford both. Just find it a bit poor from MS that they need to buy TR to get people to buy their console.

They helped out a developer who was in a bit of financial difficulty at the time. They helped with the development and of course financially too. Hadn’t they done it the game probably would never have seen the light of day. Why is that a bad thing? ????

I would’n’t be surprised if it wad mid 2016. I dont see TR generating enough interest on the Xbox One to garner enough sales. Microsoft will ship it for Windows soon enough. Besides they did say it was only exclusive for HOLIDAY 2015.
