So you’re still playing the latest Elder Scrolls game, and by now, you’ve pretty much Fus-Roh-Dahed everything in sight, except for those annoyingly indestructible children in Whiterun. So what’s a Dovahkiin with way too much power in their vocal chords supposed to do?

Well, if you’re a little more patient, you might just be able to start adventuring and dragon-slaying with brand new friends soon, as Bethesda looks set to announce an Elder Scrolls MMO.

Toms Guide recently found out that Zenimax Online and Bethesda would be unveiling their new Elder Scrolls Online title in May this year, with an industry source claiming that the game would take place several centuries before any of the first five, in a timeline known as the “Second Era”.

Elder Scrolls Online will also have three playable factions, represented by one of three animals: A lion, a dragon and a bird of prey. Apparently, the tilte will have a small debut in May, followed by a bigger unveiling at E3 in June, with more details being dropped at QuakeCon in August, alongside Doom 4.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve heard of Bethesda working on an online game, as Zenimax has been recruiting employees with online and MMO experience for quite a while now. So far, this idea sounds more awesome than a buddy knight film with King Arthur and Sir Lancelot taking on all manner of fantasy threats.

Plus, we seriously do need some new Elder Scroll memes. I used to be an online adventurer like you, but then I took a mandatory update patch to the knee…
