Rumour: God of War PSP Collection heading to PS3

God of War 4 is still heavyset on the rumour shelf and frankly, we don’t see any light shining in that direction for a while. Thankfully, rumours come thick and fast when it comes to this series, as two of the biggest titles released for the PSP might be ported with enhanced graphics and improved gameplay onto the PS3. According to a report from The Magic Box, God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta will be ported to the PS3 and are scheduled for a July 7, 2011 release in Asia.

The site claims the announcement came from Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan, but this has yet to be confirmed.

This announcement has come out of nowhere, and must be taken with a pinch of salt until we get more information. Until then, it might interest you to take a look at the list of all the God of War titles so far released and rumoured. It goes a little something like this:

God of War I (PS2)
God of War II (PS2)

God of War III (PS3)
God of War II HD (PS3)
God of War III HD (PS3)

God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP)
