In yet another blow to PS3 owners THQ has stated that they have scrapped Saints Row for the PS3… This after it was meant to be released soon… Nice.
So why have they done this? Basically because they don’t think there is a large enough install base to warrant the cost of the game development. Where have we heard that before?
Whats worse though is that it is only a port after all…
They have put a positive spin on it however by saying that they want to release Saints Row 2 simultaneously on both platforms next year. I guess that depends on how many PS3’s are sold this year then THQ?
So I know none of you PS3 owners wanted this game anyway but less games is never a good thing…
I’ll now sit back and wait for the Xbox 360 fanboy accusations to start…
