While the gaming world is abuzz with excitement over the GTA V trailer, there’s little point denying that Saint’s Row 2 was just about the most fun pure, undiluted that could be had with a Sandbox title. Unless you played the game’s notoriously shoddy PC version, that is. Developer Volition  promises that history won’t be repeated with Saint’s Row: The Third, adding their game to the increasing number of titles getting a little extra love in the PC department.

“As many of our PC fans are probably aware, the Saints Row 2 port on PC could’ve been a lot better,” said the studio. “Saints Row: The Third on PC is not a port, and it’s our goal here at Volition to prove that to our PC fans … Highlights include AMD Eyefinity support, DX9, DX10, and DX11 support, Crossfire enabled, SLI enabled, advanced depth of field, reflections, and ambient occlusion quality, and, of course, God Rays.”
