See naked men in new Dark Souls 2 screens

1 min read

Just the name alone is enough to strike fear in to the hearts of the bravest men (and women!). Dark Souls was a game so brutal, it made grown men weep, and its sequel promises to do much the same. It’s got a new setting, new spells and new weapons and they’re all on show in this fresh batch of screens from AGB.

You’ll also get a look at the “deprived” class, which is meant for those psychopaths/masochists who like doing the “naked” runs. Dark souls 2 is out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in mid-march, with a Pc version to follow.

As much as I loved the first game (and I really, really did) I’m just not sure I have the time to invest, patience or the testicular fortitude to do it all again. for whatever reason, I’m just not feeling it as much; perhaps its the new director, perhaps it’s the new setting or perhaps I’m just a giant, snivelling baby in my old age.

As promised though, here are those screens.

DarkSouls2 (2)DarkSouls2 (3)DarkSouls2 (4)DarkSouls2 (5)DarkSouls2 (6)DarkSouls2 (7)DarkSouls2 (9)DarkSouls2 (10)DarkSouls2 (11)DarkSouls2 (12)DarkSouls2 (13)DarkSouls2 (14)DarkSouls2 (21)DarkSouls2 (22)DarkSouls2 (23)DarkSouls2 (18)DarkSouls2 (25)DarkSouls2 (27)DarkSouls2 (28)

I’m probably going to play it, but I’m also probably going to stop playing it before completing it.
I’m such a baby when it comes to hard games. I want somebody to console me and say ‘you can do it, here have a cookie’
Oh, whatever happened to simple games like space invaders.

Back into the abyss. I am seriously excited for this. Haven’t watch any videos about this game yet. I want to experience the terror myself when I step through a gate and see a boss for the first time. That’s the thing about this series. Every boss is unique. One cant help but stare in amazement and terror when you see it for the first time. Then you fight for your life.

This one is fairly simple. It shows what materials you need to get a weapon from one level to the next and at the end where you can do it.

Then must take out capra demon, then get a good bow to take out that damn moonlight butterfly!

Yip. Just run around avoiding it’s attacks as much as possible, after a while it gets tired & lands, then you whack it. It’s not very strong.

Try get yourself a lightning spear as soon as you can, I find it very useful.

            February 13, 2014 at 09:04

Well, there’s a door by the Red dragon that leads down to where you fight Capra in the lower Undead Burg. She’s in that area. You need the Basement Key to access that area

          • TiMsTeR1033

            February 13, 2014 at 09:07

I have used the basement key and fought the dogs and undead assains ect down there even the dude with flame torches but yet to find her.

            February 13, 2014 at 09:12

Near the Capra demon is a room with a spiral staircase & an archer skeleton on a platform about half way up, go to the top of that, go through a door & she’ll be down the passage to your right. It’ll also open up a short cut to get to her from the first bonfire.

I know, but the guy in New Londo can cure curses. That is what I did and I have no issue with trancient curses as the ghosts drop them a lot if you have around 10 humanity… Either that or just use the ones that you get from the corpse in the urn just before you cross the bridge
