Yesterday’s trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition not only revealed the game’s October release date, but also revealed a spontaneous sticky wet spot on the front of my pants, letting the world know just how excited I am for the game.
Despite the overwhelming negative sentiment surrounding Dragon Age “One Cave” II, I think Bioware has managed to get people pretty keen on the newest entry, which promises far greater scope, better relationships and significantly more varied caves.
It’s also dead sexy. One thing that has people worried, with the new platforms the game will be coming to, is just how people will will transfer their save data from the old consoles, to the new ones. To that end, as you likely know, Bioware will have a cloud-based solution, allowing you to make all of your decisions again, and customise your world state prior to Inquisition’s launch.
Within the Dragon Age Keep, you’ll be able to customize a Dragon Age historical world state to your exact specifications drawn from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II story decisions. These include hero attributes, companion details, quest results, and more. Customize as much or as little as you wish. Then you’ll be able to import your saved world state into Dragon Age Inquisition at the start of a new game. For new players, the Keep will serve as a great way to understand the people, places, and events that shaped the world leading up to DAI.
With over 600 world decisions between the previous games, that all sounds like a bit of a tedious process..plus, I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, let alone what choices I made in Origins. I may end up going in clean – or just make new choices.

doubt it, it would overshadow the coming Dragon Age release.
we wont see any ME material untill DA has been out for a few months.
at most, Bioware will get a panel at E3 where theyll drop hints at whether the new ME game is befor or after the current trilogy, tell us what they have planned for the new trilogy, without telling us any specifics etc.

Hope I can set up more than 1 “world” in the keep. One for each play-through I have not yet completed! Completed a good-guy. Still need to finish my bad character and my “does whatever the hell I feel like” character named Lobo

Who needs to set up their world again. Mine has been built up and backed up 8 times. I might need to play some DA:Copy Paste to get some of the older saves up to date since a few of them only have up to Awakening.
