Shadow of the Colossus gets a stunning new trailer, launches February 6th

Whether you asked for it or not, Shadow of the Colossus is getting a full on remake for the PS4. The surprise announcement at E3 was expected to get an attached release date today during the Paris Games Week presser, and it did (in some obscure manner). We also got this; a gorgeous new look at the game running through some of its most iconic environments, along with its swelling soundtrack.

In motion, it’s stunning. It’s the sort of recreation tricks you into thinking that this was what the game looked like when you first played it. There’s elements in here that are surely going to be tweaked for modern audiences (the controls, please), but the look and feel of the classic PS2 title seems to be intact. It’s out as early as February 6th too, so there’s not long to wait now.
