So who’s missing from E3 this year?

With the NGP, Wii 2 and all the new games getting shown off at this years E3 Geoff and Ian are faced with the virtually impossible task of covering everything.

But who has pulled out at the last moment giving Geoff and Ian some respite?

It’s always pretty tough to say who pulled out since very few people fully admit to their schedule before hand but the following titles were expected at E3 and have now been confirmed as no-shows

First up, Darksiders 2, one of our hotly anticipated titles and something I was 99% sure would be shown at E3 has now been pulled with THQ showing off this massive list instead

  • Margaritaville Online
  • Metro: Last Light
  • MX vs ATV Alive DLC
  • Saints Row: The Third
  • uDraw for PS3 and 360
  • UFC Personal Trainer
  • UFC Undisputed 3
  • UFC Undisputed: Fight Nation
  • Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
  • Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team
  • WWE ’12

None of which I am really excited for besides Saints Row.

Our next no shows both comes from Square Enix who have now confirmed that we won’t be seeing Final Fantasy Versus or Final Fantasy Type-0 but more importantly we will be seeing Tomb Raider, Hitman and Deus Ex. Their full showing is as follows

  • Final Fantasy XIII-2
  • Dead Island
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • Tomb Raider
  • Hitman: Absolution
  • Dungeon Siege III
  • Wafku
  • Heroes of Ruin

Other notable emissions are Rockstar in it’s entirety which is the norm and apparently Activision have no plans to repeat the party of all parties again this year and will just be showing off their latest offerings behind closed doors.

CD Projekt Red, the guys behind the Witcher 2 also may not be in attendance as they held a relatively large pre-E3 get together yesterday where they announced their plans for the year ahead, however they may have just wanted to get a jump on the competition.

Have you heard of any other titles that have been pulled at the last moment?
