There is no denying, those white Xbox Ones are pretty. Sure, the Kinect may still be black, but that white console and controller with the engraving of “I Made This” really is pretty cool. And now, you can get your hands on it, if you’ve got the money.
I’m already humming and hawing about the price of next generation consoles. I really want both, but it’s going to take some serious budgeting to make that happen. So this commemorative console is definitely going to be out of my price range.
UK based charity, GamesAid has The Xbox One White Exclusive Launch Team Commemorative Special Edition on auction. That’s right, the console that’s exclusive to members of the console’s launch team is available. Bidding goes until Friday, so how much can it be? Well, at the moment it’s going for £120 100. That’s $193 000 or R1 974 939.
It’s bad enough I’m wondering how much food I really need to eat to be able to afford my new console as it is. For that price, I could buy a beautiful new house. I’m glad the proceeds will go to charity, but wow, some gamers have far too much money. Still, I’m jealous – that console is ridiculously pretty.

I think the part that puts me off is that black section with the X-orb at the top. I don’t even like it on the black controller. I guess the white emphasizes it even more.
