Now I am not one for ultra violent video games… okay that’s a blatant lie I love them. Even though I love them however I was taken back by the level of violence in soldier of Fortune.
With all the media attention that has been around violent games in the previous few years I thought that this latest iteration in the Soldier of Fortune series would be more civil.
However they have gone the other way, using next gen power to show us more gore and violence than ever before. Why just kill the enemy when you can mame them first and watch them bleed to death. Jack’s going to go nuts.

It looks fun. Maybe they should make the blood green, the ESRB rating will go down then 🙂

My question is, so what does that add to the gameplay? Whatever happened to making “T” games?

@doobiwan
I think what it does is it gets everyone talking about the violence and some people see it as cool and want to buy it and stuff.

Yeah, exactly.
BTW, it’s failed certification in Australia, i.e. it’s been sort of banned.
