So after years of infuriatingly pointless TV adverts Sony decided to go with the standard advertising platform for Killzone 2.
Splash some gameplay footage and cut scenes across the TV and then plaster every non-moving structure with the box art of your game so that it becomes embedded in people’s skulls.
Apparently though the box art of Killzone 2, which is available in all good gaming stores and most mass retailers, is to scary for public viewing.
According to a school teacher, Davis Mirza
“My kids, who come from a lot of different countries, who have to experience violence, who basically come here to seek shelter and safety, that’s the stuff they don’t need to see. menacing head with glowing eyes… like Iraq…â€
So without further ado Sony ripped off all the bus shelter posters in Toronto, Canada…
Maybe that’s what we should have complained about when those idiotic ‘This is Living†commercials were going.
Source: Gamepolitics.org and then more adverts were removed further down the road gamepolitics.org because some guys kid was to frightened by the adverts to go to school… or just possibly he didn’t want to go to school?
