Sony has come out and listed it’s early 2008 Lineup and I have to say it is far from amazing.
A Basketball game, a golf game and Gran Turismo…. The rest are PSN titles.
MLB: The Show 08 (PS3) – Spring 08
Hot Shots Golf 5 (PS3) – March 08
Wipeout HD (PSN) – Early 08
Rat Race (PSN) – Winter 07/08
echochrome (PSN) – Q1 2008
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue (PS3/PSN) – Q1 2008
PixelJunk Monsters (PSN) – January 08
While that list is a little sad SterKinekor has forwarded me their major titles for next year and that list looks a lot better.
Q1 = Unreal Tournament, Blacksite, Hellboy, Lost Planet and Grand Theft Auto.
Isn’t that way more appealing than that first list…

Um… isnt that list from sony, inhouse games only?
So then that isnt the ps3 line up, its merely the sony line up and reflects nothing?!?
Actually I dont really get the point of this story, cos as you say, their are numerous other titles coming from other studios!

Yeah it most probably is their inhouse list.. it still doesn’t look impressive though…
The point of the story was to list what we can expect on the PS3 in early 2008…

So far the MGS 1st party retail games are:
Kingdom under fire:Circle of Doom
Lost odyssey
As far as XBLA games go, no one knows, they play those close to their chest. but with releases every week and twosies you could conservatively guesstimate that there will be at least 10-12 XBLA exclusive titles in Q1. Probably the most anticipated is Pirates versus Ninja’s Dodgeball.
As far as 3rd party exclusives I’ve found these:

Culdcept Saga
Dark Messiah of might and Magic elements
World in conflict
Supreme Commander
Universe at War
*Bully* (It’ll be PS2, Wii & 360, but not PS3 so a bit iffy)

Also there is some ignorance there Lazy, as calling Hot Shots Golf 5 “a golf game” while technically true is like me saying Halo3 is “a shooting game”.
Also, plenty of PS3 owners have been desperate for Wipeout HD and GT5 Prologue, and then there’s Rat Race WooHoo! 😉
