So Sony is expecting to seel stand alone Blu-Ray players for less than $300 before the end of the year…
There are two different ways to look at this, it’s either going to steal a large part of the PS3 market since it’s cheaper than the PS3 and will most probably be a better player.
OR
We can expect a huge PS3 price reduction towards the end of the year as I am sure the Blu-Ray player is one of the main reasons for the PS3’s idiotic price tag…. R6399 for a games console. I don’t think so.
