So you think your PS3 is bullet proof, well that may be true unless you live in Taiwan where consumers went to the Consumer Protection Commission to get Sony to replace all console with serious defects.

After the intervention of the Cabinet’s Consumer Protection Commission, Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has agreed to replace PlayStation 3 game consoles if they have “serious defects,” according to the Central News Agency. The commission was cited by CNA as saying that some of the PS3 game consoles launched in Taiwan had defects such as a tendency to overheat or jammed memory cards.

So how much is this going to cost Sony now? Well according to the latest reports 2 console have been replaced… Yeah just 2… I’m sure Sony are panicking now 🙂

Well I honestly hope Sony wont have more similar issues or else this could practically kill them and thus erasing the competition. They simply dont have 1BN dollars lying around like MS do.

Actually they don’t know how to make Hardware the PS2 was notoriously bad especially early generations, that’s why there were like 10 different generations, my PS2 that I go in 2002 the laser just decided to give in. This and the PSP strangely enough is a big improvement on the PS2

I have never had a issue with any Sony equipment.
On another different note, doesnt Sony actually have more cash than Microsoft?

Abe, umm absolutely not.. Even Nintendo is now worth more than the entire Sony Division…

You are under estimating Microsoft’s wealth. If memory serves me right they made over $5 billion in profit in the first quarter of this year.

I am talking about the entire companies income / expenditure and profit…

Microsoft don’t have a gaming division the xbox division includes all the other little devices like the Zune and Media Center so you can’t compare… Microsoft could most probably buy Sony if Sony was available…

Wow I never realised, I guess I heard wrong. I looked it up and Microsoft is worth around nine times as much.
I guess it does really make sense.
