Sony has registered a new Playstation logo or icon in Japan. I cannot imagine they will replace the current Playstation logo but possibly this will replace the little house for their Home service?
I don’t like it, it reminds me a bit of the London 2012 Olympics logo which also seems like a mess to me.
Maybe I’m just getting old but seriously what happened to the previous artwork where we didn’t need an explanation as to what it was or is?
I am sure they have some great philosophical reasoning behind their respective images but since I don’t know either of them they just seem like a mess.

It looks rather cool.
Its the X – square – triangle – circle buttons.
Maybe if they added some colour it would have been nice hey.

The London Olympics thing is hella confusing, but I dont think the ps one is bad at all, agreed it could use some colour, but to me it seems like the edges have been chopped in your pic. Dont know why any brand would wanna change their logo when it is such a well known and recognisable feature of the brand?
