So this is exciting news isn’t it? GFK, the guys who track and report on all the retail sales figures in South Africa and around the world have put together some figures for Lazygamer.co.za to exclusively release.
I have them at the moment but to ensure that they are reported in an unbiased and fair manner I am going to get GFK to approve the way they are being used.
So if all goes to plan the figures will be out around lunch time tomorrow and I have to say that the numbers have suprised me in many ways.
Every platform has done very well and there is no overall winner from the numbers. But there does appear to be a certain console which is now quickly making up the back fall on the other two…
Any idea who is losing and may soon overtake their arch rivals?

Wow, for such a usless piece of hardware it seems to be doing pretty well. Must be a “gimmick” or a “fad” 😉

PS2’s are very much still consoles and are tracked by GFK but we are only looking into next-gen consoles this time.
We may talk about the handhelds and PS2 later though
