I love vampires. I love the lore, the mythology, their pointy teeth and the resultant buckets of blood. It should come as no surprise then, that I cannot stand Twilight – and its emo, vegetarian, glittery suckfest “vampiresâ€
Spare a thought for my gag reflex when this boxart (after the jump) arrived in my mailbox. Unfortunately, some smart-arse at Konami thought it would be a great idea to take the Scene it and Twilight licences and combine them. Shoot me.
“Konami is always looking to engage people in new means of interactive gaming experiences. The TWILIGHT film has an incredibly popular following who crave content and new media well after the movies are no longer in theaters,” said Kazumi Kitaue, Chairman and President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
I actually wish this was a proper 3rd-person action adventure game – because then I’d at least have the satisfaction of killing the characters off by continually running in to a fiery grave.
If you’re over 14 and male and you buy this you need your head read. Or your face punched – a service I will glady provide.

I actually tried to watch Twilight, and I was very very drunk at the time, and I could not handle it. Emo vampire garbage. Good idea to put Blade there, he can definitely make things more interesting.
Twilight vs. Blade, make that happen Konami!

Not interested at all in that rubbish. Dracula is the only vampire worth talking about. Besides Lestat from the self-titled novel of course.

You may live to regret it… I haven’t seen my wife since I got her the first book.
Apart from the times she appears and tells me that I will never be as good as Edward

Well… you know… in psychology, some people pretend to unlike something just so that other people wont think theyre weird… when the fact is theyre OBSESSED with it. LOL stop pretending Geoff! You know you like some Twilight! I mean…cummon… who doesnt???!!! 😉

I am currently attempting to read the first book to see what all the fuss is about… it’s okay so far but man is it long winded and aimed squarely at the more feminine market.
Give me Lestat and co anyday

On take2 and kalahari, of the top 5 selling books, the twilight series held the top 4 for quite awhile. I’m not surprised that game developers wanna cash in.
Anyway, not for me.
I did think it kinda funny that Twilight and Tru Blood came out roundabout the same time. They’re so similar, but polar opposites, and Tru Blood is awesome.
