Here are the specs you’ll need for the open Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 PC beta

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta ended this weekend after its first run, exclusive to the PlayStation 4. It kicks off again this weekend though. Yes, it’ll be coming back to PS4, but also on Xbox One and PC.

Black Ops developer Treyarch has revealed the specs you’ll need to play the beta on PC this weekend. These specs are just for the beta though, and could change for the retail release of the game. It’s worth noting that the consoles get access to the beta through a code delivered along with pre-orders, but the PC beta will be open to all, through Battle.net. those who pre-order do get early access though. Not launching on Steam means that Activision gets to skip out on paying Valve to use its marketplace, but also gives them better control over friends lists, communication and servers.

As for what you can expect?

“This Multiplayer Beta showcases six modes—Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. You will battle over six distinct maps—the four already seen at various events, plus two new ones, Gridlock and Hacienda—across playlists that showcase all the content that the Specialists revel in.”

Remember too that the beta isn’t just for dicking about it, but will also provide Treyarch and the other developers working on the Pc version the information they need to make the PC version better.

The beta starts on August 11, with early access on PC kicking off on August 10. We’ve played the first round of the beat, and so far, it’s a little samey wamey.
