SplinterCellTrilogy

Has Ubisoft decided to release one of the Xbox 360’s premier exclusives onto the PS3? According to a product listing on Amazon.fr PS3 owners will be receiving the Splinter Cell Trilogy on the 2nd of November this year.

Not to be mistaken for Splinter Cell Conviction, the trilogy was released onto the PC 3 years ago and has already seen the light of day on the PS2 so this may not be a sign of things to come.

But then again, it is becoming less viable to stay exclusive to a single platform and with Amazon also listing the Prince of Persia trilogy for the PS3 we may be seeing the end of this particular exclusive.

Oddly I never got into Sam, maybe it was because I was a Metal Gear Solid fanboy, and now that I’ve outgrown these silly notions, I might just pickup this trilogy.

Honestly Gavin this article makes no sense. The POP trilogy and first 3 Splinter cells games were released on PS2 so i dont quite understand the point of all your exclusive talk in the article. Anyways i guess this is the one huge benefit of Blu Ray. By the sound of things we should be getting many many more trilogies on Blu Ray in the future which is fantastic news for me. The GOW collection was awesome and i cant wait for the Sly collection in Novemeber.

Heres what im hoping for most:

    Team Ico HD box set.
    MGS 1-3 HD box set.
Resident Evil 4 with Move support for PSN download.
Final Fantasy X, X2 and XII HD box set.
    Jak HD box set.
    GTA Box set.
    Ratchet box set.
    Devil May Cry box set
Level 5 HD box set with the Dark cloud series, Dragon Quest VIII and Rogue Galaxy.

    Probably many more im forgeting!

I’ve also missed out on some really great games from the past decade, and this is a really great way for me to catch up. More collections!
