Shinji Hashimoto, the Executive Producer of the Kingdom Hearts series has taken the stage. He chats about the highly anticipated, long awaited remake of Final Fantasy VII, and also sheds some light on upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles.
The Final Fantasy VII trailer shown at Sony’s conference last night is reshown. Here it is in case you somehow missed it.
Past that, nothing new on the project is shared, other than that more information will come in Winter. It was also announced that Final Fantasy VII (the original) will be coming to iOS. Release date of that is uncertain at this point.
After this, Hashimoto shows a new Kingdom Hearts trailer. It’s not Kingdom Hearts III, like people expected. Rather, it’s a trailer for Kingdom Hearts Unchained. This title has been long available in Japan. It’s now coming to the West, to iOS. Here’s the trailer.
After this, the crowd finally gets what they want – information on Kingdom Hearts III. What we’re shown is… nothing new on the game at all. No cinematic, and sadly, no gameplay. After this however, after much delay and subtle trolling, we finally get a new trailer showcasing Kingdom Hearts III.
Finally! Fans around the world can rejoice. There is no further information unfortunately regarding release dates and such, but it looks awesome so far.
