Steam, the popular digital distribution platform with ridiculous sales, is introducing more ways for you to give them lots of your money.
Instead of using your credit/debit card to purchase games, you can now deposit funds into virtual wallet, which you can then use to buy things. This adds some flexibility to the service, since some people either dont have credit/debit cards or they don’t want that data floating around a server somewhere.
Just a note, like the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace, your money isn’t refundable and only applies to things in that store.
