Stolen Xbox 360 Found Using Wireless Controller

This is something that can only really happen in a place like a college dormatory but it’s pretty cool just to know that it actually happened.

So in a nutshell, a guy named Ketsenburg gets back to his dorm room at Missouri State only to find out that his Xbox 360 had been stolen. Bummer, right? So Private Eye Detective Ketsenburg (not really) turned on his Wireless Xbox 360 controller only to find that it was still connecting to his Xbox 360, meaning that it had to still be nearby.

By walking around the dorms and checking the connectivity on the different floors and down different passageways, he was able to track down the consoles location to a room.

The console was recovered from the room while the thief was still out, so when the no-good sticky-fingers came back he was met with a surprise of his own, not to mention that he is probably now in a world of trouble. Apparently Ketsenburg’s hard drive was formatted, leaving him pretty bummed but an empty HDD is a whole lot better than having no console at all.

Who knew that wireless controllers would one day save the world, or at least one mans Xbox.

LOL! that sounds too much like me not being able to find my car in a parking lot (Monte Casino is particularly bad), then arming and disarming my alarm until I can figure out where the beep is coming from.
